Spotify watch app

Hi. I have an Apple Watch series 1. And I have encountered a problem with the App Store. Specifically Spotify. In the App Store on the iPhone under Spotify it states that it offers an Apple Watch app. But I am unable to instal it. It does not appear on my Apple Watch app or in its subcategory in the App Store.
