New IPhone SE overheating

I do rideshare for a living.

I run 3 rideshare apps and make a phone call and the phone overheats. This did not happen with my previous IPhone 8 when doing the same thing.

it’s winter in Sydney max 25 Celsius.

overheat warning comes on.

overheats while charging and not charging.

help

iPhone SE 2020 Overheats Is there a reason my IPhone SE has been overheating so much? I got it 6 months ago and overall, it’s gotten very hot. The ambient temperature is usually around 70 degrees Fahrenheit, but I was playing Minecraft on it while charging and it got so hot that the temperature icon came up and I had to stop playing. Overall, it gets warm and sometimes when it’s in my pocket, not being used I can feel it heat up. Any ideas?

iPhone 14 overheating i am having the same issue noted above. I’ve been driving a rental all week and as soon as I plug the iPhone it immediately heats up. The only apps I have running are Waze and Pandora. In my personal car it has not done that at all so I’m not sure if the issue is with this particular rental or what. Please advise. I need Waze to get around and I don’t want to damage my phone.
