Is my garage band capable of writing out notes on a staff for my recordings?

If you have a software instrument track, you can see the notes for this track on a staff in the track editor:Set the track Editor pane to "Score". If you click the clef, you can select the clef you want. But you cannot display the score for a real instrument track.
