Ipad not recognising screen time passcode.

Anyone else having this issue? I've got screen time passcode set up on my ipad, so that it locks most apps and internet use from my kids. From time to time my ipad won't recognize my screentime passcode when it pops up at the appointed screentime limit. I get an incorrect passcode message.

The strange part is, my Ipad does recognize the passcode as correct. I can easily go into settings, and change it under screen time> change screen time passcode- the passcode is recognized in settings as correct- so I'm definitely using the correct passcode. It allows me to enter the old passcode and change it to a new one with no error message. Even after changing it, the screen time pop up in an app that is blocked for screen time, won't recognize it as correct. It's very strange. If I restart the Ipad, the issue stops, and it recognizes the passcode again. I am running IOS 13.5.1. It's pushing my to update. Could the push to update be the reason?

I can’t immediately answer you question, but would recommend that you update your iPad to the current version of iPadOS. At time of writing, this is iPadOS 13.6.1.

Updating your iPad to the current version may resolve the problem.
