Face time the right number with wrong area code issue

I found similar question on forum before, but not exactly the same issue and definitely the suggested answer doesn’t help.

I found on my FaceTime app unknown outgoing call for about 1min (with real data usage) to the number that is real and in my contacts, but wrong area code (it was Belgium instead UK). The call was made a week ago, but pop up today.

I checked in contact app that this person has only one number, all typed correctly, with correct area code.

It’s spooky, and definitely not a chance I would randomly type the correct number but wrong area code for a person I already have saved in my FaceTime app by name and I call frequently.

Any ideas why this happened?

iPhone by default add phone number format based on Country Code prefix.

Belgium would look like this +32 4 AAA BB BB BB

UK would look like this +44 7AAA BBBBBB

Unless you have added manual spaces in between them which would have rendered the entire number "useless"

See the pic below

How does it look in your contact list?

It would be better if you can please re-post with a screenshot, in order to understand the phenomenon better. Images / pictures speak louder than words. (Do not provide any personal credentials, such as email id, apple id, IMEI number, Serial Number, Phone number, Order ID, if you are sharing a map ensure your location is not identifiable. etc)
