So I recently bought earpods with a 3.5 mm plug, because I needed a high quality pair of headphones + microphone for my playstation 4. However, when I plugged them in, the others in my party could hear a constant buzzing noise, which was really annoying for my friend whenever we were chatting. (I didn’t hear it, only the people I was talking to) Is there something wrong with my earpods, or are the two just not compatible?

Thanks for following up with us and letting us know that you tested them with your iPhone and the issue did not appear when you recorded a video. It does appear the EarPods are working properly they are not compatible with your Playstation.

heeyy, so I tested the earpods out with the iphone 6, and the microphone worked fine. When I recorded a video, I didn’t hear any buzzing sound, and I was perfectly understandable, so does that mean that there’s something wrong with my playstation?
