Apple Watch Series 4 Screen Broke OUT OF NOWHERE
Hello. The screen of my series 4 watch broke with no impact. Was fine in the morning, was broken in the afternoon. There was no impact; nothing special going on that day. It was a really hot day, and I was in the sun for a few hours, and that's all I can think of. It started as a small crack and then spread through the watch over a few days. I've called apple 3 times and they say it's out of warranty and there's nothing they can do, I have to pay $349 for repair. The series 2 and 3 are known to have this problem and they offer free repairs. There is currently a lawsuit against apple for all series because of spontaneous screen cracking. What can I do? It's ridiculous to have to pay 75% of the cost of a new watch to repair a screen that cracked spontaneously after less than a year and a half of usage. I mean, this is a SPORTS WATCH, and I didn't even engage in any high impact sports. I strongly feel this is a manufacturing defect. Especially since series 2 and 3 had this problem. Whenever I call, they put me on with someone "senior" who is the "last point of contact". I can't get any further than second level. Honestly, this is outrageous. It's a $500 watch and it broke out of nowhere. Any suggestions?
