Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I no longer have a video option for my iPhone 11 Pro Max and the only way I can record is by holding my shutter button. Does this only affect the 11 series and any ideas to see if it’s just my phone? Should I go to my nearest Apple store and see what they say? Anything to help me sort this out or something like that please reply thanks.

If you receive an error message, what does it say? Which software version?
Is this in the Camera app only?

this can also occur because their is an app like discord using your microphone.
This just happened to me and I rebooted the phone and all have reappeared.
Shut down the phone and reboot. Mine all reappeared after I did that

If you are trying to use video while on the phone or FaceTime it will not allow you to.
This works! But how in the world are we supposed to know this! Our video choice disappears and is replaced with a press-the-shutter-button-and-slide-it-over feature unbeknownst to us.
was going through the same issue and i just figured it out. so, if you hold down on the photo white button, it begins to record. hope this was helpful!
That did not work. It just does a photo burst
This exact thing happened to me but it only happened while I was on hold in a video call app. As soon as I ended it, my camera settings all came back. The slo-mo and the video options.
All I had to do is shut my phone down, let it reboot and turned it back on. On the photos are their again
