Help Loading In Plug-Ins that macOS cannot verify

Hi,

I've added some 3rd party plug-ins to Logic Pro X recently, (on my new MacBook Pro 16", I9, 32G RAM), and while the 'name brands' plug-ins loaded easily and properly, some of the 'lesser known names' (or not easily identified by Apple) plug-ins have come up short. The downloads went fine, and (as their instructions said for the different remaining plug-ins), I moved the "Component" file from each new plug-in to the proper folder "Computer - Macintosh HD - Library - Audio - Plug-Ins - Components". Yes, they're ALL "AU" files. And as I said, Logic upon each new startup, loaded the other new plug-ins, yet about a dozen constantly read that they can't be opened (PLEASE SEE ATTACHED SCREENSHOT FOR DETAILS). They are from legit sites and are well known plug-ins. I've reopened Logic and each time, it omits these dozen (I copied one in the Screenshot but they all read the same thing).

Please help. Thanks!

I think Iaamusic referred to this:

Safely open apps on your Mac - Apple Support.

Be warned. This message usually means an error from the developper. Personally I never install/use not properly signed software.

Thank you All!

The plug-ins being rejected are:

Some are older, many are new. Admittedly, not sure how the older dates may be bad or not useful.

They include: LePou (I believe is a known brand from a known company, a Link is: https://vst4free.com/dev/258/). (I know the link says VST, but that's just the link, I ONLY selected & DL the "AU" files for Mac. Some are from https://masters-of-music.com/list-of-best-free-and-paid-guitar-amp-sims/. And some are from https://thehomerecordings.com/free-guitar-vst-plugins/, https://thehomerecordings.com/free-guitar-vst-plugins/, others, as well as Amplifikation Lite (from their site https://www.kuassa.com/downloads/).

Again many of these plug-ins are by known companies, so just relaying to Wilddrums and laamusic (as you mentioned regarding trusting the site/plug-ins and being valid, and "not properly signed software". (Unless I'm missing something and shouldn't), I feel pretty confident about those plug-ins and companies.

So assuming it is an okay move to follow what Wilddrums and laamusic said (in the link https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491). Do you guys agree!?

Many thanks (especially as I'm a brand new Mac user)!

The name or reputation of the manufacturer as nothing to do with that. Either the plugin is not properly signed with a valid certificate, the certificate itself expired or the plugin is compromised. You may be in the last two categories.

First go to the plugin manufacturers for updates or fixes.

As I said I never install or use not properly signed software. Even if you can work around the macOS security.
