What does this mean on Disk Utility Verify permissons?

Disk utility reports both are repaired. I immediately run Permissions repair and the same messages come up, every time. What is this? I am thinking XProtect is something I don't want messed with? Is this how Google patches the system so users cannot stop the constant running of their update software? Any enlightening response appreciated.

Why would I get the enclosed warning when I have given myself permission to read and write? I have a file here. The app sends a message I can't do anything to the file because I don't have permission. Then when I try Plan B of giving everyone permission, the OS warns me this action is undoable. Why is that? Couldn't I just go back change the permission back to the way they were before? I have given myself permission to read and write. I have been looking through sort of similar questions and there some suggestions to "go to the drive". Don't quite understand what that means, but it sounds like I have to bypass this irritating warning and go somewhere deeper within the Mac OS. How and why?

Permissions problem I constantly get a message that I do not have permission to perform operations on my home drive (like deleting files, opening folders). I am the only one using this computer. The problems started when I upgraded the OS to Catalina 10;15.7. Please don't tell me to do the "Get Info" trick: I have tried that 3 million times for every file I cannot touch.

Nothing. Ignore it. It's so meaningless that later versions of OS X don't run have a repair permissions facility.
