updating payment

I have received an email that there was a problem with my payment for my icloud charge and i should update my payment, but when I follow the instructions, it doesn't work. When I click on 'view apple ID', a screen pops up but then quickly closes before I can do anything. What should I do now?

Don't use a link in the email to do that. The email may be a scam.


Log into your account in the App Store/iTunes and you should be able to change/verify it there. Or you can click the blue Edit payment methods in the article below. When signed in and the page loads, you will be on the credit card page. After updating that, click the Go Back button at the lower left and you will be on the address page.
