2 questions about FCP Effects

I was looking through the effects the other day & it occurred to my there seem to be a number that no longer exist this is also the same with the sound effects. I seem to remember a number of film effects including one that cause the image to jump, as would old film in a projector and another called "Bad TV," these seem to be missing. Have they been removed or are they just missing from my version of FCPX?

My second question is how to get rid of the 20 or so 3rd party effects that were place in my effect library by a developer when I purchased an effect from them recently. I expected to just get the effect I paid for, not for them to put another 20 of their trial effects in my library hoping I'd buy them at some point in time.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Third party effects are usually placed in User>Movies>Motion Templates.

They will be in the appropriate folders . . . Effects, Generators, Titles or Transitions.

"Bad TV" and "Projector" should be found in the Stylize section of Effects on the FCP X interface.
