Sustain Pedal Suddenly Stopped Working (Help!)
After coming back from a trip, I fired up logic to start back in on my current project. But when I went to start recording in more piano, my sustain pedal wasn’t working. I did not assign the pedal to anything, or change a single thing since I had left 3 days ago. I have never had this problem before. My midi keyboard is a Komplete Kontrol S49
i have:
- Checked to see if the pedal itself is broken, it is not
- powered everything down and unplugged, didn’t help
- opened older projects and brand new projects but found the same problem
- I have checked Logic Pro x> Controller surfaces> controller assignments >. But nothing is assigned to the pedal.
- I have checked in midi settings but nothing showing why sustain pedal shouldn’t be responsive.
Again, I’ve been using this setup for years and never had a problem. I just opened everything up as usual and suddenly no sustain.
please help! I’m up against deadlines and can’t record anything :(
