Hi. I have a MacBook Pro 2020 OS Catalina and would like to purchase a monitor. Can someone advise me on what might be compatible and what cords/adaptors I need to make sure I have? It has 2 thunderbolt 3 ports and no HDMI. Thanks so much for the help!
You just need a USB-C-to-XX adapter to connect to the monitor, where XX is HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA depending on the monitor. Or you can get a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 monitor and not need an adapter.

Thanks so much for the reply. I should have caveated that I know NOTHING at all about technology and just looking for something with decent video quality that I can use for college work. So I am assuming that I can find a reasonably decent monitor on Amazon for under $200? I am not a gamer, again..just for school stuff and movies etc.
