icloud email

can i change my icloud email address without erasing all my icloud data? or possibly a way to make a new one and still have all my data on my previous one? i’ve become embarrassed over the years (i made up my own email when i was 9, bad mistake) and i would like to simply change the email address, but it’s linked with icloud. can i change it and keep all my icloud storage data?
