Anyone have issues with microphone on their airpods cutting out completely? While on calls, I'm still connected and can hear the other end perfectly, but they can't hear me at all. Only happens sometimes though. Tried resetting, it worked but then started happening again.

Hi there. I've had exactly the same problem and have just found a fix that works. If you go to your Settings - Bluetooth and select your Air Pods there with the information (i) button, you'll get a menu for them. Select Microphone and select Always Left.
It has cured the problem completely. I'm assuming selecting right might work too but Left worked first time so back to normal.
No idea why this works but perhaps there's been a software update that screwed up Automatically Switch Airpods!
I have exactly the same issue and no way of knowing when it happens unless person at the other end tells me. Very frustrating

Same issue for me, and I personally know at least two others who have had the same issue. Has anyone had luck getting Apple to replace their AirPods given the seemingly widespread effect of this issue?
