Family Sharing: hidden movies no longer visible on my account

I have had family sharing enabled on my apple id for a while to share purchases between myself and my husband (I am the organizer). It worked fine until I looked into setting up a child account for my daughter. She is still little, so she wouldn't be using it for a bit, but I'm trying to get the account set up in the meantime so I can start making kid friendly content purchases through that account. I have some movies that were previously purchased on my account that I wanted to share to the new child account, but I also had some R-rated movies I didn't want to share, so I followed the steps to hide them using iTunes on my Windows PC. It seemed to work fine and now my husband only sees the movies I left available, but now I can't see them either. Everything I've read makes it sound like hiding the content would just hide it from family sharing. Is there some other way of hiding the content so I can still see it? They are mostly digital movies I redeemed because they came with the hard copy, but I still would like to watch them occasionally without my daughter accidentally watching Deadpool.
