Bluetooth Disconnects Repeatedly

I have a BlueParrott X450-ST Bluetooth headset. It keep disconnecting and reconnecting to my iPhone. Below is what BlueParrott says is the issue. Are there any fixes in place?

Apple / iOS issues:


After some updates, with many Apple iOS devices, there have been reports of the iOS device’s Bluetooth function disconnecting and reconnecting to paired Bluetooth devices continually. This is happening with speakers, headsets of various brands, automobiles and other Bluetooth devices. Because of this issue, your paired Bluetooth device may report connection several times as the iOS device (iPhone, Mac Book or iPad) disconnects and reconnects. Usually this is due to a secondary paired device trying to establish primary connection (not wanting to share the connection). This issue will require an Apple patch to resolve the issue.


You can visit many of the Apple forums where people are reporting the same issue with many types of devices. You can check the forum for answers regarding a possible solution until Apple officially sends an update with a corrective patch to the Bluetooth programming error.


If you have the headset paired to 2 devices, disable the Bluetooth in the second device while using the first device and see if the connection prompt goes away. This will help isolate what is causing the prompt.



Here is a temporary solution for iphone 7, 8, X and 11 model iPhones that others have reported works to stop the continual beep or connection prompt:


Go to settings > sounds and haptics. Turn off system haptics.
