Are you looking for them by logging in to www.icloud.com ?

If so, be aware that you cannot view the contents of an iCloud Backup. The data that is displayed at icloud.com is from syncing, not from iCloud Backup. You sync data (e.g., Contacts, Photos, Notes, etc) to iCloud by using the options at Settings > [username] > iCloud.

And be aware that the first sync of Photos can take a long time.
