Email not opening or quitting
My Email will no longer open (but says it's open in the background) or quit. Because of this I cannot shut down my MacBook. Are there any solutions?

Please refer to Quit apps on Mac:
"If an app doesn’t quit as expected, you can force quit the app (you may lose unsaved changes). Choose Apple menu > Force Quit, select the app in the dialog that appears, then click Force Quit."
