Assistive touch button disappears multiple times a day

why does the assitive touch button randomly multiple times a day turn off and remove itself from the screen? Shouldn’t this stay on until I go to settings and turn it off? I have to turn it back on 6 or more times a day!!

84hartleyj,

We appreciate you providing that information. Have you had the chance to restart your iPad yet? If not, let's give that a try to help refresh the iPadOS software: Restart your iPad

If AssistiveTouch continues to unexpectedly disappear after the restart, we should check if it has any shortcuts set up. Here's how: About the Accessibility Shortcut for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

We look forward to hearing back from you!
