hp printer error with Mac

hp envy 7645 was working fine. now an error (yellow triangle with !) appears when I try to print. I have reset, removed printer, used usb, tried AirPrint. Not successful with any method to be able to print. This right before virtual school starts and the kids will need to print. ugh. any suggestions? not sure if this was from the latest macOS catalaine 10.15.6 update or not.

Does the yellow triangle not give you any information as to where the fault may lie.

Have a look at this page from HP, the printer is supported in Catalina,

make sure the operating system selector is set for macOS 10.15,

there was a firmware update released 29th June 2020. And software

from 1st of June 2020.

Other than that you should be calling HP about their products.
