Hi - I am trying to play two Bluetooth speakers simultaneously from my iPad or iPhone. One is Airplay enabled (Bose Soundtouch Wireless Link) and one isn’t (UE Megaboom). SO I don’t think Airplay is an option. Although they both show up in the Bluetooth list as connected, only one can be checked off at a time. I can switch back and forth but can’t get them to play at the same time. Any ideas?

You cannot. There is only one BT audio out channel at any time. So only one speaker at a time can be used.
Some speakers support daisy chaining them to add speakers. That is not an iOS BT function. That is a function of the make and model of speaker(s) you have.
There are YouTube videos all over the place detailing how to connect multiple devices to play simultaneously.
