Invite.ics converted to Winmail.dat

My work email is gmail, since this week all calendar invites are coming through on the mail app on my phone and Mac as winmail.dat but if I view in a browser I see them as invite.ics.

The rest of my team (all Mac users) do not have the same issue. The only exception is when I get a cancellation and that shows as invite.ics. This means if I want to view a calendar invite and accept it I have to use my web browser which is suboptimal.

I can only assume this is a setting my side as others would be experiencing it
