How do I stop RECEIVING name and photo suggestions in Messages?

Messages has that nifty little feature when you first get a message from someone, if the contact information (name/photo) doesnt match what the sender has on their phone, it gives you this little popup asking if you'd like to update the contact.

My phone is constantly at max capacity, so I frequently delete message threads in order to save space. Its not an end of the world thing to click the small x on the notification - its just annoying and id like it to stop if possible. Basically id like to leave my contacts named the way I name them, which is easiest for me to remember which of my 2 bosses named Kevin is messaging me. (Kevin (in) Scottsdale or Kevin (in) New York.)
