Hello, I am trying to render two video's, one is 2 hrs long, the other 3 hrs. After rendering for an hour FCPX crashes after using more memory then I have installed. I have 192GB installed on a 2019 Mac Pro.

Is this mostly video clips or a great big number of still images?

I mean rendering and sharing, Red Footage. I have no problem with 10 minute projects, but long one always crash after I get the memory low error.
Is this 10.4.9? I don’t use RED, but I gather that an updated plugin is required.
10.4.8, I just updated the RED workflow plugin for fcpx.
How much free system drive space do you have? What drive are you rendering or exporting to? You know you don’t have to render before exporting?
I have more then enough free space. If I render before exporting I don't get the memory leak, so it appears to be a plug-in that does the leaking.
Impossible to render long video's, FCPX keeps eating memory.
