Apple TV AND NETFLIX error message

I have the Netflix app on Apple TV and on Samsung DVD player and SmartTV and on a Roku and on my laptop (MacBook) etc. There are 4 users on our account. All 4 user icons and histories are available and usable on all platforms except on the AppleTV. 3 of the 4 work just fine on the Apple TV but I can't get the one with all MY preferences to work on it. When I click on my icon I get: "Error -

Sorry something went wrong. Please try again later. Click RETRY or CANCEL." This has been happening for months without variation. How can I make it work?

  • Sign out of Netflix on all of your other devices.
  • Delete the Netflix app off Apple TV, then reinstall it.
  • Update your tvOS software on Apple TV
