USB SuperDrive

The USB SuperDrive require about 900 milliAmps USB power, where the standard is 500 milliAmps max.

Many convoluted hookups will not work because they cannot supply the required power.

There should be no difference here.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro with function keys has only two Thunderbolt 3 ports, both full speed.
