ipad freezing when charging
Anyone know why or have a fix?

Well if it only freezes when charging then I would think its related to the charging system. Are you using Apple approved charger and cable? For the longest time I did not know there was a difference until I realized that official Apple lightning cables have a Apple chip in them for charging and other knockoffs sometimes uses a clone type system. Power supplies also can cause problems as well. Maybe find a way to test on a different charger and cable combination.
