iMAc 2019 speaker sound terrible

I cant believe how bad the sound quality is on iMac 2019. Did I get a dud or is this common? Trying to figure out if I should return or figure out another fix. Thanks for your thoughts.

2006 iMac - Faulty speakers My iMac's speakers sound like rubbish. It's been going on for a while now, and I've grown somewhat used to it. It only becomes a problem when I try to listen to music. I just want to know what the problem could be and if it is fixable in any way. P.S: the distortion happens more with bass tones, if that's helpful.
