My wife has her apple ID and mail and I have my apple ID and mail. We would like to create a 'joint' email that we both share for certain communications with family and friends and our financial advisor.
I'm unsure if I can do so or if so, the proper steps

Create a new 3rd party email address from your ISP or somewhere like Yahoo or AOL and you can both use that address. A joint email doesn't have to be tied to your Apple ID.
