Why does my phone ring with do not disturb enabled
My iPhone 8 still rings while my do not disturb is enabled. I have my favorites set up and tested it out with an unknown number and it still rings. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Thanks for the info everyone but I still have the same issue. I tried calling from my home phone, while my iPhone is locked, which isn’t saved as a favorite. It still rings. Here is what is set up. I did silence unknown callers like kb1951 suggested

Check settings, phone, enable silence unknown callers.
If Silence is set to “while phone is locked” and it isn’t locked, it will still ring. Set it to Always or make sure to lock it before testing.
Make sure you don’t have “everyone” selected in Settings > Do Not Disturb > Allow Calls From
Thank you all. Fixed it!
