Series 5 Apple Watch Usage in Europe

Hi all,

I am moving to Spain next week and I would like to know if I will be able to use my Apple Watch. I know my phone is unlocked so I will be switching to a Spanish SIM Card. My question is, will my phone still "talk" to my watch with this new SIM Card? I do not have data, just the GPS. It is a series 5 watch.

Apple watch If I was to buy an apple watch in the UK, would I be able to use it in Spain if I put a spanish sim in my iPhone and vice versa each time I travel back and forth? Also if I bought the cellular version would I have to paybthe monthly tariff or can I use the watch using my iPhone like the gps version? Many thanks

Apple Watch in France I have an Apple watch model A2477. It is hooked up to my Verizon cellular plan. My Verizon plan is set up for European travel. Will my watch work in Paris if I don't have my iPhone on me?

Yes, it will still talk to your phone.
