Suggestion, download the 10.15.6 Supplemental via Safari. Shutdown computer, restart in Safe Mode ( at startup immediately Hold Shift Key ). It will take longer to boot. That is ok. Now run the installer

Stop using System Preferences> Software Update.

Download the standalone update from here,

https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2049?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

once downloaded double-click to install.


When downloading from Apples servers it is always best to use a cabled connection.

Do not use the mac while downloading or any other devices that share the same internet connection.
