I’ve left my phone at home, can I use my iPad to pay at a card reader?

Hello,

i have Apple Pay setup on my iPad, and was just about to pay for something. I tried the double tap (like I would with my phone) and no luck. I just want to check that this was correct.

Thank you Rudegar, I had saw that already. I just couldn’t see where it tells you that you can’t pay with your iPad. I will read it more thoroughly now.

iPad does not have NFC chip in it, so you cannot use it like your iPhone to pay at a terminal.
