PIV Card Smartcard not showing up in Keychain after the upgrade from Mojave to Catalina

My Mac laptop is Mojave 10.14.6. I use the PIV Card Smartcard to Log In, to connect to Cisco VPN and the PIV Card Smartcard shows up correctly in Keychain. Everything works good.

Now, after I upgrade from Mojave to Catalina:

I can still use the PIV Card Smartcard to Log In (probably because it cached the credentials).
I do not see any more the PIV Card Smartcard inside the Keychain app.
I can not connect to VPN anymore, of course it give me certs error because I guess it can not see the PIV Card Smartcard anymore.

Of course this a lab testing laptop, I do have another Mojave laptops that I want to upgrade to Catalina and test the PIV Card Smartcard.

Do you know any command line or anything else that maybe I need to run on the Mojave laptop before upgrade to Catalina so I won't have issue with my PIV Card Smartcard?

I know Catalina changed all the crypto stuff, token, etc. But it must be a command line that I can run that will allow the laptop to still 100% recognize the smart card after the upgrade.

The 2 software that I recall are:

Enterprise Connect
ActivClient

Should I start testing removing them one by one and see if it will fix?

I need Enterprise Connect for sure that's the application that allow the Mac talk to Windows AD.

I may try first with ActivClient

Thanks a lot Barney-15E so what should I do next? What will be my next step? I am ok with the Smartcard not showing up in the keychain app but how can I solve my issue? The Smartcard after I upgraded to Catalina is not properly recognized anymore.
