Bluehost cpanel access for Safari blocked

I urge - I PLEAD with - Apple to resolve the incompatibility between Safari and the cpanel at Bluehost. Bluehost CS continues to say that they have tried to work with Apple, and that I should download Chrome. I simply need to change an email password I once easily managed through cpanel so I can add the account to a new iPad. I need to install Chrome for that? Insane.

There must be hundreds of thousands of IOS using Wordpress site managers out here using Bluehost, and have been, like me, for years. This change — however it came about — is intolerable.

Apple owes everyone an explanation on this issue, which is screwing up possibly hundreds of thousands of businesses — conducted by your own customers; and an explanation that does not say, “Go see Bluehost,” even if it is their problem. Go to bat for us, please. Your thoughts?

Hi, welcome to the Apple Users Community.

Please try this link for help with your issue

This is not the fault of the software engineers but the web developers. The standards organization W3C was created to attempt to make the playing field as even as possible.

Some developers don't care to give grace to the platforms they don't use, narrowing there capability and market. Think about it like this, The website should work to operate with it's clients in mind. Their systems should operate to fit the clients needs. Software is generic and is not be geared to the needs of one website, the website should be dynamic and be written to work with all browsers.

Best of luck

OK, I've been in here since ][e days. Software vs. webdev...? This is a policy decision, in which the decision thinking was "Screw those guys," meaning Apple customers who manage WP sites at BlueHost. The BlueHost site admin and cpanel were simple and a pleasure to use for 10 years. A functional and UI design change was put in place to what...?...streamline the process and make it better? Improve margins? But it obliterated sustained compatibility we depended on and I an assure assumed would only become more robust if any system upgrade were made: that is the core premise of digital innovation. Or did I miss something. I don't know if Bluehost is beholden to Google or what, but really. Download Chrome to change your password? That is about as "in your face" as it can get for a mere single customer.

Thanks Pete. But I'd elevate this into the upper regions of the spaceship.
