itune does not recognize my ipod classic but windows 10 explorer does as usb.

On a PC:

Try Temporarily Disabling Security Software - See if it is Now Seen

Or...

Reinstall iTunes:

Download iTunes for Windows from the Microsoft Store
Uninstall: iTunes
Restart: your PC
Install: iTunes
Connect: the iPod
