If Lost Mode is activated but then I change my Apple ID Password will the Lost Mode still be active?

My phone has been stolen and I activated the lost mode. Some time after that I changed the password of my Apple account. Right now, when I look at my devices, the stolen phone is no longer there, I suppose this is because it's logged out since I changed my password but when I look it up on Find My, the phone is still there and marked as lost. So my question is, since I changed my password, will the thieves be able to get rid of "lost mode" and log into my phone or is it still protected although it's been logged out my account because of the password change?

No, they will not "be able to get rid of "lost mode'" and log into" the device.
