Two AirPods attached to Apple TV 4 K
Two pairs of Air Pods attached to Apple TV 4K. Can volume be adjusted independently for each pair? I cannot see any place to do this.

You can change the individual volume levels of the AirPods by holding down the TV button on the Siri Remote and then click the AirPlay button. Then if you highlight the AirPods in the list you want to adjust, you can then use the volume buttons on the Siri Remote and it will only change the volume for the selected AirPods.
Worked great. Thanks!
This was incredibly helpful. Thank you.
Ditto...I can go as far as the last step...I don’t see a “share audio” button. Wondering if we don’t have a compatible Apple TV device. (It’s about 3 years old and is currently running tvOS 14.3)
Teresa901 I think that BrklynDad has the answer because I have the HD version and am having the same problem as you. Thanks to you both for helping find a solution and Happy Holidays !
Thanks for the tip! But can you tell me what the “Siri remote” is please?
Thanks! This solved the problem for me!
When I first connected second pair, the volume on those was extremely low. I connected them to iPhone, cranked up the volume then reconnected to Apple TV.
They both work ok now, but I need to adjust volume separately, can’t see how.
I can confirm that this is the fix. We had the same problem. Both of our AirPods showed up in Bluetooth settings, it seemed like bother were connected, though only one of the two would be working. It is not until you push and hold the TV button and select both that it will work properly.
I tried all of the above solutions, but when I tried to select both headphones after selecting the TV button, it would only engage one selection at a time. I am now looking to get a duel link bluetooth adapter which I was told will solve the problem. Apple will only allow Share Audio with iPads and iPhones.
It should work on ATV .4K

Huh, well I'll have to figure it out.
Nope, not true. We have 2 pair of AirPods Pro and they can both pair and we can listen to both simultaneously. You either are missing something or is it possible your TV OS is not up-to-date?
