I installed ios 14, tried some of the preinstalled apple widgets, but none of them works. Often some of widgets in the add-widgets screen are all blank. When I add widgets, like calendar, weather, music, they either not update, or not clickable. For example, when I add music widget, it cannot play when I click it. What is the point to have a music widget just for viewing.....?
Please give me suggestions.

I rebooted my iphone a few times. The widgets seem working. I already rebooted twice after upgrade to ios 14, but I did not expect to reboot again twice to make it work..... Seems I just need to continue reboot until it is working.....

Force restart worked.... For some times and after its back to how it used to be. Not refreshing and "pixelized" tiles.

Hold down each individual tile button (on the tile itself) for ten seconds. This resets it and it will work after that.
Resetting your network settings to factory also works.
tbe widgets eventually stop working again but I guess we’ll have to do this until Apple fixes the bug.

???? It doesn’t...... I hold it for ten sec and it just goes to jiggle mode...
the same thing happened with my widgets on my brand new iPhone 12 pro.
Still you have this issue?? Me too have this issue even after update to iOS14.2
