FaceTime PIP (Picture in Picture) on iPhone XR

Hi everyone,

I have two iPhone, 11 PRO max and XR.

On 11 PRO Max FaceTime Pip works. On XR, when I go in PIP mode, I see the other person but he doesn’t see me. He sees like the video is paused. I see the orange status point on top button like the camera is not active.

how can I solve this?

thank you.

Hey there GuguDWT,

We see that you are having some issues with the Picture in Picture feature on your iPhone XR. We would love to assist you with resolving this issue.

Verify if the issue still occurs when you are not using the Picture in Picture feature, try just using the video call directly through the FaceTime app.

Also, make sure that your iPhone is up-to-date with the iOS software: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Check out this resource that may assist with troubles in regards to making a FaceTime call: If you can't make a FaceTime call on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Best wishes.
