ISSUE WITH STACKING LARGE WIDGETS (iOS 14)

The easiest way will be to use both fingers while intending to create large widget stacks. While you’re holding down the new widget with one finger and planning to drop it over an older one, use another finger to touch the older one while you drag the new one onto it.

1) Let us assume you already have 1 large widget on the screen [old widget]

2) You created a new large widget on a blank screen [new widget]

3) Touch and hold the new widget until you can drag it (u must not release it until we finish the full following steps)

4) Use another hand to swipe to the screen where you have the old widget

5) Touch and hold the old widget

6) Slowly overlay the new widget to that (remember - you have been holding this for a while and you will release it only in this step)

This works. Thank you! I held the new widget by the top left and then dragged it over to the existing stack.

FOUND THE SOLUTION:

hold down new large widget, then use other finger to scroll to page with other large widget and then stack!!

I tried the two fingers advice and the stack sure moved to the required page BUT all app groups are gone and I have to reorganize them again.

Once again, there is a design fault. Pretty frustrating.

I was able to successfully put a large calendar and large Siri suggestions into a stack, but simply cannot put a large Music into it.

I have the same issue. I have a series of shortcuts that just go over 2 "pages" in a smart stack. Swiping through them brings up more blank pages than anything else. Completely hit or miss.

Apparently yes - Apple seems to be reviewing the feedbacks making amendments with those updates.

I still have issues with the news big widget - can’t overlap that with any other stacks 😭
