Why have Apple removed the Pace Split feature that used to appear under Avg Pace in the Outdoor Walk programme? This was a really useful feature for tracking progress.
I exclusively use native Apple Watch (first generation, yikes!) Workout app, and it has reliably provided splits that could be viewed on iOS Fitness app prior to v14. After applying 14.0.1, splits no longer show up in Fitness, even for workouts recorded prior to the upgrade. Ugh, on all levels!
Running a S0 Apple Watch and as you’d expect have lost my splits which is annoying. However the Zones app is able to recreate the splits from the data which I have found useful. That’s a great app by the way... (and no I’m not affiliated).
I have just upgraded to an iWatch S6 (from S1) and the splits now appear. So I guess Apple degraded S1 functionality for some reason.
That sounds hopeful - how did you export the data? I’d like to do that as well. Thank you.
Go to the health app click on your profile at the top right and then there is an option to export all data.

I'm seeing the same thing. Why on earth would you remove functionality Apple? Love your products and software but this is a WTF moment!

Still does not show splits on outdoor workout Apple Watch 1 with latest iOS
I have now ditched the Apple Watch altogether and changed to a Withings Scan Watch which does exactly what I need of it with a great app that in my view is superior to the Apple Health app.
Thank you for the tip re Zones app: it’s brilliant! Also, the running app I use, Intervals, have now added splits to their app, since Apple refuses to fix their own app. 😔
