Indic keyboard is not typing in Indic mode since iOS update

After the latest iOS update, the Indic keyboard is no longer typing the Indic text.

full access has been allowed for the keyboard in the settings. Can someone please help me with what else needs to be done.

keyboard changes After most recent IOS update I’m unable to access German keyboard. Settings are correct, but no sign of keyboard.

Had to delete and reinstall the Indic keyboard app and the restart the phone after allowing full access. That worked.
