Hi, I did the latest update to ios14. Since then my ringer volume keeps being turned down to minimal. I’m not turning it down, it seems to happen when the phone is locked. I cannot manually change the volume when in lock mode. Any ideas?

I have turned off Sleep Mode from the Health App. It’s somewhat buried, but since I turned it off, I no longer have issues with the alerts and ringer.
note: the ringer slider still is showing completely silent at times. But if I manually lock the phone and go back in, the slider moves back. Seems like a UI glitch.
Obviously no clear solution is present and maybe in the future at this time with the new 14.2 mine is working but only a matter of time before it will stop
I don’t want to go to Beta. They did not officially declare it as a bug and the details of 14.2 has nothing related to this ... Means more issues
Apple needs to provide a fix ASAP

Didn’t solved the problems,and the phone will restart automatically always
This worked for 14.1. Does not work for 14.2.
I already tried that only worked for few mins then issue came back

Are you also facing the issue when you cut the call then the ringer and volume indicator randomly pop up. It seems to be like this.
Where/how can I download the iOS 14.4 public beta?
14.4 beta didn't fix it. Volume still goes all the way back up every time I plug in or unplug my headphones
the volume isn’t decreasing. It’s increasing to much louder than I want it and much louder than I already had it set. That isn’t an “added safety feature” for me.

Does this happen specifically with the Phone app, or is it more something that occurs across all notifications? See if following the steps in the "Lock the ringer and alert volumes in Settings" section of Adjust the volume on iPhone helps to quell this issue and let us know.

I have the same problem, only since installing iOS 14.0. The 14.0.1 bug fix did NOT correct the problem. In Sounds And Haptics, I have the ringer volume slider set to high, control with buttons off. If I check the settings after a short time, the ringer slider is set all the way to the lowest volume (mute??) This does not affect the alarm.
