iOS 14 ringer volume issues

Hi, I did the latest update to ios14. Since then my ringer volume keeps being turned down to minimal. I’m not turning it down, it seems to happen when the phone is locked. I cannot manually change the volume when in lock mode. Any ideas?

I have turned off Sleep Mode from the Health App. It’s somewhat buried, but since I turned it off, I no longer have issues with the alerts and ringer.

note: the ringer slider still is showing completely silent at times. But if I manually lock the phone and go back in, the slider moves back. Seems like a UI glitch.

Update on my 11Pro with the Ringer/Alert volume going to Zero issue.

I am a Field Service Engineer and programmer and do quite a bit of remote troubleshooting with clients. I know that the more information that I can get, the faster I can resolve issues.

So in that light, I decided to call Apple Support through my phone's setting page. I got ahold of a very professional and thorough Support Rep who actually connected remotely into my phone, ran some diagnostic software and then downloaded the logs. He got with some of the engineering team and said that they are working on the issue but the problem is that it affects a relatively small percentage of the phones. He thanked me for taking the time to give them some more data to help in their resolving this issue. He said that many people that have the issue have wondered if it is somehow related to BlueTooth connecting and disconnection. They are hoping to resolve this with a software update in the near future. Hopefully Very Near Future!

Im using 14.2 beta and what i have noticed is the ringer volume sets automatically with media volume in control center. When media is at minimal then ringer sets to minimal and when it is high ringer sets itself to high. The problem got resoled for a day or two after phone restart but it start happening again. Seems some volume variables are set as global or getting values from same source.

I have the same problem and it is really annoying (latest ios14 iphone se 2).

The first update made it better for days but now it is the same. I think the apple made it like it would have a faceID, but it doesn’t. With faceID phones you have a setup which is awareness something. If you are looking towards the phone it gets down the alarm sound. If you do not face it, it goes back. It works like that with my phone, but we cannot set it off because we do not have that option.

I don’t get the calls and messages i should so it feels like I have an old school phone, not a new expensive one.

At first I thought it’s when you ignore or dismissed an incoming call when you choose for the notif to be a banner instead of taking up your whole screen, turns out - it automatically adjust your ringer volume to zero when you receive a call! Yes, even when you answer it. Now I always check my ringer volume every after call. 🙄 sucks that we need to adjust. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!

Hey!! I’ve the solution if you done all the steps like reset all settinga reset all contents and settings force restart and restore from itunes. Then do one more thing are you able to install IOS 14.4 public beta. Then download it and install i’m **** sure this will solve your problem. I’m also facing this same issue but after i install 14.4 beta then i notice that my problem was solved. This is an issue which is happening on since IOS 14.0.1
