Plug-in Headphones don’t work after ios14 upgrade

Since downloading ios14 for an iPhone XR the plug-in headphones no longer work. They work on other devices and the power lead still charges the iPhone so the port also works. Any ideas?

My APPLE wired headphones are no longer working after iOS 15.6 update on my iPhone 8 Help. After doing the iOS 15.6 update yesterday, now it says my APPLE BRAND headphones (wired) that came with my phone are not a supported accessory??

Headphones not working on pro max 12 My iPhone 12 Pro Max headphones don’t seem to work anymore I have tried a couple of different pairs and still nothing happens, the lighting connector seems to be ok, I have tried stuff from YouTube but still not getting anywhere it’s very frustrating. thanks

I am having the same problem using an adapter. The headphone and mic weren't working for any sound apps or Music. I then opened my Apple TV app and noticed the sound bar was down to 0 there. When I turned that up, it seemed to release the volume for all my other phone sound features.

I was experiencing the same thing, I fixed mine by restarting my phone.
