Lost app folders after ios14 upgrade (iPhone XS Max)

Everything on my iPad that was in a folder was kicked out to 14 pages. 14. I have spend countless hours the last few weeks attempting to reorganize things back in folders repeatedly. I get some things back in order, and they get kicked back out. Sometimes it's within an hour or two. Sometimes it happens multiple times a day to random folders. I finally had almost everything organized again only to realize a few minutes ago all but 2 folders were kicked back out. There is no rhyme or reason to it. Things in one folder get kicked back out to numerous pages randomly. I couldn't restore from backup when I noticed this initially because I didn't know when it occurred. My most used apps are on the first 3 pages so it wasn't until I went to a specific folder on a different page that I realized what had happened. I only know for certain it's happened following one of the iOS 14 upgrades, and it wasn't an issue of me trying out widgets as has seemed to be the issue for some. I am completely fed up with this garbage. I need things to be orderly. This is ridiculous.

Same exact thing just happened to me. Very frustrating, was hoping to find a way to go back to how it was without having to manually regroup all of my apps.

For me my whole App Library disappeared so I had to bring back one of my Home Screen slides now I can’t slide to right and see the App Library it’s disappeared

Omg SAME just happened now

I keep losing the apps from my iPad, I can open them from the apps icon and I can then use them but they still won’t stay on my iPad it’s driving me mad.....!!!

Exact same problem on my iPad pro. Nothing to do with widgets. The folders just disappear. Already suffered 3 times and have given up. Really really frustrating.

Same as me on my iphone Pro and iPad Pro it’s driving me mad, I have even lost a lots of apps too , please Apple we pay a lot of money for these items the least you can do is give us a better service, most of my family and friends are saying the same and a lot of us are seriously talking about switching to another phone company. I certainly won’t be upgrading either with you in the foreseeable future........ Last chance please fix this !
