Files app won't let me access my files and keeps crashing

Whenever I open the Files app or a files view on any other app (like say Pages, when you open a recent doc), it doesn't show my files, nor does it let me switch to the "iCloud Drive" or "On My iPad" tabs in the sidebar. The only way I can actually show my files is usually by changing the sorting or something, but that hasn't always worked either. And even when I manage to view my files, I can't click into any of them. And whenever I long-tap them, the app crashes. Has anyone else experienced this issue? And is there any fix or workaround I can use till the next update?

Also, here's a screen recording of the issue, and I have a 6th gen iPad on iPadOS 14.

Thank you!
